The warmongering / war-is-big-business / white-is-right club of nations. Can't countries like China, UK, Aus, and the US just ship themselves to Mars and let the rest of the world live in relative peace?

We would of been better off with the japanese subs. Super quiet, a small magnetic profile and less subject to infra-red detection. Easier to repair and cheaper by a factor of ten

Funny how China who has Nuke subs, Nuke weapons and have recently added Aircraft carriers to their Navy is threatened by a little nation getting a couple of submarines in 20 years. Or is it just because Australia won't do as they're told?

It was also going to take 20 years to get the dud French Submarines. They made the right move. The real disgrace is that due to â€˜politickingâ€™ it took so long to reach the right decision in the end.

They send their warships and spy vessels off our coast, then whine and carry on like a baby when we decide to protect ourselves. We don't need China coming here buying up our land and driving housing prices through the roof.

Wait, China has 80 subs. I don't get it. Are we supposed to defend ourselves with harsh language on the battlefield? Sorry hippies - but we don't live in a Starfleet utopia yet - having a modern defence force in line with other countries is a prudent thing to do, and is definitely not the warmongering we are now being accused of.
